Praise to the Lord, who hath fearfully, wondrously, made thee! Health hath vouchsafed and, when heedlessly falling, hath stayed thee. What need or grief Ever hath failed of relief? Wings of His mercy did shade thee.

Praise to the Lord! Oh, let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him! Let the Amen Sound from His people again; Gladly for aye we adore Him.
As I was meditating on His Glorious Word, part of this hymn burst into my heart, “Ponder a new what the Almighty can do ... ”. Immediately, I began to Praise God and enter into His Glorious Presence! Yes, we are created for Worship, Praise, and Thanksgiving to our Merciful full of Lovingkindness Triune God. We are here on earth being prepared now and forever to enter the Holy Communion of Love between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Let us Praise our God now and forever!
Just praising God and this wonderful hymn came so I decided to sing all of it. My God is the Almighty, the King of all creations. I love you Lord. Eternity is not enough to sing Your endless praise my Father.
I was born to praise God
Am living to praise God
I will die praising God
Eternity will be spent praising God.
His praises shall continually be in my mouth.
Oh Lord accept the praise I bring to you.
How beautiful and encouraging to read other Believers words from all over the world! I am grateful for these hymns that have such depth and beauty. Our God is so gracious and loving!
This song just came to me as I was praising God; and there was the desire to sing all of it to my Most High God and Dear Friend. The one who prospers my work and defends me. The Almighty the King of Creation. What God!!
The whole earth will Praise the Lord our Almighty God our Father. I grew up singing this song and heard it again tonight - All Praises Father God and my Lord Jesus Christ- may I praise thank worship you every day of my life always! I love you ABBA I love you Jesus , thank you!
“Neanderthals” were named after him (sort of) 😋 There is a German valley called “Neander” which is named after Joachim Neander (“Neander Thal” in German, that is, “Neander Valley”) because he was known to be inspired there. Legend holds that Neander Valley is where he wrote “Lobe den Herren”. Incidentally, this is also the place where scientists discovered what they believe to be the evolutionary “missing link” between simiankind and humankind. They named these “creatures” Neanderthals; therefore, the “missing link of evolution” was named after a creationist!
