Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return

This beautiful chorus that I learned many many years ago came to mind this morning as I was reading from the prophet Isaiah chapter 61:7. I haven’t heard this in years and can’t stop singing it. Praise God for the everlasting joy he gives to us.

This song is a a reminder of His words to us... promise of what is to come.

Be encouraged if the Lord is with us, who can stand against us. He is faithful to keep His promises. I first sang this song in the 1970's as Jesus moved in California and beyond bringing great revival and faith, joy, and authority to many people which continues today. California 2020.

Woke this morning with this hymn in my head. I haven't heard it play or sang it in years. What a God we serve to encourage us so.

Sing church, sing.

Thanks Lord for taking away my sorrow.

Hallelujah, this hymn makes me long for the day our Lord will take us to be with Him forever. O, how joy will overwhelm us!!

Everlasting joy shall be upon their head.

As I prayed for daughter concerning healing from breast cancer, this song came to me. I had to search for it online. Sang it in the early days of the Catholic Charismatic prayer meetings. Feeds the soul and confirms healing and God’s redemptive power. Thank you all believers and especially the gifted writer who has gone on to glory.

Enjoying Isaiah 35 this morning and started humming this tune. Thank You Lord for Your Body and for Your functioning through the members!

Scripture put to song. I learned this as a child. What a blessing to see other believers across the world have heard it, too!

Lord thank You for this hymn.

You have a plan for man, even after some have taken a detour, after the world has distracted us from Your ways nothing will stop You from fulfilling Your plan for man to be with You as this verse clearly states, and if there should be a minimal doubt of Your recovering and returning Your redeemed this verse begins telling us Your promise in Isaiah 35:10 with a reminder in 51:11 confirming Your promise and plan.

Lord return Your redeemed today, that their return may be one way and none stop all the way to Zion so that You may be satisfied!
