We’re feeding on the living bread

Experience of Christ As Food and Drink

English1150
1
We’re feeding on the living bread,
We’re drinking at the fountainhead;
And whoso drinketh, Jesus said,
Shall never, never thirst again.
What, never thirst again? No, never thirst again!
What, never thirst again? No, never thirst again!
And whoso drinketh, Jesus said,
Shall never, never thirst again!
2
We are feeding on the living bread,
Eating of the feast our Lord has spread,
And whoso eateth, Jesus said,
Shall hunger nevermore.
What, hunger nevermore? Yes, hunger nevermore!
What, hunger nevermore? Yes, hunger nevermore!
And whoso eateth, Jesus said,
Shall hunger nevermore.
3
We are breathing in the living air,
Breathing in the One whose life we share,
And whoso breatheth—now, fore’er—
Shall have the life of God.
What, have the life of God? Yes, have the life of God!
What, have the life of God? Yes, have the life of God!
And whoso breatheth—now, fore’er—
Shall have the life of God.
4
We are tasting of the living wine,
In spirit tasting life divine,
And whoso tasteth, every time
Shall have the joy of God.
What, have the joy of God? Yes, have the joy of God!
What, have the joy of God? Yes, have the joy of God!
And whoso tasteth, every time
Shall have the joy of God.
5
Christ is the resurrected King,
Who died and rose, our life to bring,
If you receive Him you will sing,
And live forevermore.
What, live forevermore? Yes, live forevermore!
What, live forevermore? Yes, live forevermore!
If you receive Him you will sing,
And live forevermore.

1. Me sööme elavat leiba,
Me joome vete allikal;
Jeesus ütles, kes iganes joob,
Ei iial, iial janune.
Kas ei iial janune? Ei, ei iial janune!
Kas ei iial janune? Ei, ei iial janune!
Kes iganes joob, Jeesus ütles,
Ei iial, iial janune!

2. Me sööme elavat leiba,
Süües, mis Isand meile andnud on,
Ja kes iganes sööb, Jeesus ütles,
Ei iial nälga tundma pea.
Mis? Ei iial nälgi? Jah, ei iial nälgi!
Mis? Ei iial nälgi? Jah, ei iial nälgi!
Ja kes iganes sööb, Jeesus ütles,
Ei iial enam nälgi.

3. Hingame sisse elavat õhku,
Hingates Teda, kelle elu meil,
Ja kes hingab, nüüd, igavesti-
Tal on Jumala elu.
Mis? On Jumala elu? Jah on Jumala elu!
Mis? On Jumala elu? Jah on Jumala elu!
Ja kes hingab- nüüd, igavesti-
Tal on Jumala elu.

4. Maitseme elavat veini
Vaimus maitstes jumalikku elu,
Ja kes iganes maitseb, iga kord
Tal on Jumala rõõm.
Mis? On Jumala rõõm? Jah, on Jumala rõõm!
Mis? On Jumala rõõm? Jah, on Jumala rõõm!
Ja kes iganes maitseb, iga kord
Tal on Jumala rõõm

5. Kristus on ülestõusnud Kuningas,
Elad igavesti? Jah, elad igavesti!
Mis? elad igavesti? Jah, elad igavesti!
Kui vastu võtad Ta, laulad,
Ja elad igavesti.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for being our feeding bread. I really enjoyed this song at the first Lord's Table in Cardiff this week. A brother who was touched by the Lord called this song and we all joined in for a full enjoyment. The Lord's glory was truly manifested. Feeding on Our Dear, Sweet and Resurrected King is the way!
