I am so glad that our Father in heav'n

Assurance and Joy of Salvation Loved by the Lord

English291

1

I am so glad that our Father in heav'n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv'n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see:
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

2

Though I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me whenever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

3

Oh, if there's only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song in eternity be:
"Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me."

Today is the 19 /10/2026. I woke with this song on my heart. I searched for the lyrics and came upon this site.... Surely I am assured that Yeshua loves me, even when I go astray he reminds me gently through this song how he loves me. Aman. Thank you .

🙏💞😇🎂 I normally sing this Hymn on my Birthday. When Celebrating, I focus on The Joy knowing My Lord Jesus Loves me. I am assured of His care despite wandering, and the beautiful promise that *"JESUS LOVES EVEN me."*🎂😇💕🙏 it is a Great 👍 Hymn. *"YES I AM SO GLAD THAT THE LORD LOVES "*

I love this beautiful hymn. I haven't heard it in years. We sang it many times when I was growing up, a favorite at our chapel.

Yes Jesus Loves Me, Anytime Anywhere. Glory to His Holy Name. Amen.

The Lord is good to me, YES this I am sure
He saved me when my life needed Him most.
With dirt I came, but Jesus washed me
Halleluyah, my Lord, now I am cleaned.

One of the ways of boasting your faith as a Christian is to sing and meditate on hymns.
