| Now when Daniel came to know that the writing had been signed, he went to his house in his upper room with his windows open t’ward Jerusalem, three times daily he knelt down and prayed. |

| He gave thanks before his God as he had always done so, he had always knelt down and prayed. Daniel prayed to the Lord for His guidance, and for God’s own purpose. |

I enjoy the words and the tune to Daniel 6:10 and it supplies me very much when I sing it. Lord, make us your overcomers, like Daniel who prayed three times daily with his windows open toward Jerusalem. Hear our prayers when we pray toward Your land, Your temple, and Your city, that is toward Christ, the church and Your kingdom. Amen.
