We want more of Jesus

1
We want more of Jesus,
More and more and more! (boom! boom! boom!)
We want more of Jesus
Than we’ve ever had before. (boom! boom! boom!)
We want more of Christ as life,
Rich and glorious.
We want more of Jesus,
So we’ll give Him more of us.
2
We want more of Jesus,
More and more and more. (yum! yum! yum!)
We want more of Jesus
Than we’ve ever had before! (yum! yum! yum!)
We want more of Christ as food,
Bountiful, sublime.
We want more of Jesus,
So we’ll eat Him all the time.

We want more of Jesus,

More and more and more! (Christ! Christ! Christ! )

We want more of Jesus

Than we’ve ever had before. (Christ! boom! boom! )

We want more of Christ as life,

Rich and glorious.

We want more of Jesus,

So we’ll give Him more of us.

We want more of Jesus,

More and more and more. (yum! yum! yum! )

We want more of Jesus

Than we’ve ever had before! (yum! yum! yum! )

Bountiful, sublime.

We want more of Jesus,

So we’ll eat Him all the time.

This little song came to me in my morning time this morning. When I contemplate on Jesus a feel l need Jesus more. Even I want more of Him, more of His Life. But the key is if I want more of Him I must give Him more of me. That is my heart is occupied with many things. Too many things. I must give Him room in my heart. So something must go. Something related to what I love besides Him. Many times this is related to the time I waste on other inferior things. I must make room in my heart for Him. He is after my heart. When a house is full and you want something new, something must go! That is our old selfish soul life.
