Let me love Thee, Thou art claiming Every feeling of my soul; Let that love in pow’r prevailing, Render Thee my life, my all; For life’s burdens they are easy, And life’s sorrows lose their sting, If they’re carried, Lord, to please Thee, If their pain Thy smile should win.

Let me love Thee, come revealing All Thy love has done for me; Help my heart, so unbelieving, By the sight of Calvary: Let me see Thy love despising All the shame my sins had brought; By Thy torments realizing What a price my pardon bought.

Let me love Thee, I am gladdest When I’m loving Thee, the best; For in sunshine or in sadness I can find in Thee a rest; But without Thee life is fading, Treasureless its choicest flowers; Taken are its gifts eternal; Left, its empty passing hours.

Let me love Thee, love is mighty, Swaying realms of deed and thought; By it I shall walk uprightly, I shall serve Thee as I ought: Love will soften every sorrow, Love will lighten every care, Love unquestioning will follow, Love will triumph, love will dare.

A brother in a ministry meeting recommended stanza 4 of this hymn. I really like this stanza. But in “Love unquestioning will follow”, I wasn’t sure who the writer is referring to. Then I saw sister Ellen’s comment:
“all of us following unquestioning! ”
Amen! All of us will follow God’s love!
And, Hi sister Ellen. Greetings in Christ.
Let me love Thee, Thou art claiming every feeling of my soul
This is true. The heart is the gateway to our whole being. When our heart is oriented to the Lord, He then has the way to spread into every part of our soul.
Let me love Thee, I am gladdest when I'm loving Thee, the best.
This really has been my experience this past year. Although loving other people and other things (even in a positive sense) can provide some measure of joy, yet this joy is fading - even the choicest flowers. However, when we take Him, this is an eternal, most glad gift. Without Him, we are just living empty, passing hours. Lord, LET me love You. This really is our gladdest commission (Mark 12:30).
Each line is able to be repeated by the lips of His lovers (past, present & future) through each of their days. Finding/Following/Being drawn by His heartbeat to find of all of us following unquestioning! Love will triumph, Love will dare! Onward to His daily arrival of His Kingdom coming to this earth. Love to all the saints!!!
