I am a occupant in a home for elders. I am 89 years old, in good health, and believe that with God's blessing with modern learning in medicine, I may live to be much older.
This song which I have probably not heard for 70 or so years came drifting across my mind this morning bright and early. I will probably be singing it all day(both oot loud and to myself) and for the rest of my life and for eternity,

Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is the Sun of righteousness. When we let him into our hearts (Rev. 3:20), He shines His light upon us, and we are not put to shame. I love this hymn, even in the night hour.

I remember singing this in my childhood church. Fortunately, the church we attend now in 2021 still uses the hymn book! I will be playing this song for an offertory Sunday evening.
