This was one of the first hymns that I was taught as a child. It remains so precious to me to now that Christ died for our sins that we may live. It still humbles me when I sing it.

Great words. I have sung them since a child. This morning in Lockdown here in the UK. Very precious. Been thinking this morning of the fact that even in the terrors of the cross the centurion could see my Lord was both innocent and the the Son of God and worshipped Him. In these dark days it’s wonderful to worship him. He defeated death and worthy of all praise. Hallelujah what a Saviour.

I learned this song when I was a young girl. I was touched by the words and it has become one of my favorite hymns. It brings tears to my eyes when I sing it. I'm thankful to God for the Gift of His Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the finished work on Calvary.
