I dearly love this hymn. I remember as a child how much I enjoyed hearing It sung by members of family, and friends singing It while at church or funerales or just to be singing tjis beautiful song. Going to revivals, of to get together also. I try to memorize the words to this song smong other hymns! But this one is by far my favorite.

Someone made a comment earlier that his mother used to sing this song whilst doing the housework. This was also my mother's favourite song as it was her mother's. I can't sing this song without choking with tears when I recall her singing with such passion and emotion. Such powerful lyrics that stirs up feelings of gratitude and appreciation for what Jesus did at Calvary. Glory to His name.
