He has gotten the world's attention and reminded us that we are the church because He lives in us. Many have returned back to Him and we are to praise and lift Him up! Footnotes 1- The mentioning of holy three times, as in Isa. 6:3, implies that God is triune.

Stanza 2 - holiness and glory

The twenty-four elders will fall before Him who sits upon the throne, and they will cast their crowns before the throne (Rev. 4:10); And before the throne there was as it were a glassy sea ... (Rev. 4:6).

As the seraphim, they are for God’s holiness (Isa. 6:3), referring to God’s nature.

As the cherubim, they are for God’s glory (Ezek. 10:18-19; Herb. 9:5), referring to God’s expression.
