He leadeth me! O blessed thought,
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught;
Whate’er I do, where’er I be,
Still ’tis Christ’s hand that leadeth me.
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught;
Whate’er I do, where’er I be,
Still ’tis Christ’s hand that leadeth me.
He leadeth me! He leadeth me!
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful follower I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful follower I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.

Sometimes ’mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, o’er troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, o’er troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.

Lord, I would clasp Thy hand in mine,
Nor ever murmur or repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since it is Thou that leadest me.
Nor ever murmur or repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since it is Thou that leadest me.

And when my task on earth is done,
When, by Thy grace, the vict’ry’s won,
E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee,
Since Thou in triumph leadest me.
When, by Thy grace, the vict’ry’s won,
E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee,
Since Thou in triumph leadest me.

This is my favourite hymn. It stirs my soul anytime I listen to it. O how sweet it is to trust Christ for salvation and knowing you are truly saved as a result of that.
Friends, if you haven't done that yet, you've just got the next minute to do so. Heaven is real as well as Hell. Trust Jesus Christ today for Salvation and thou, shall be saved.

The Holy Spirit often puts a song in my head and heart at very low times and I find myself singing it while quietly doing housework. I will run to look up all verses to see what message I need to receive from the beautiful hymn. I haven't heard this hymn in 30 years. The verses are so pertinent for me today. Thank You God for the Holy Spirit that comforts and leads us.

God leads us even through difficult, seemingly unbearable path but if only we can trust Him enough to put our hands in His hand He will lead us through the wilderness to pasture green (expected end) for He alone knows the way through the wilderness all we have to do is to follow. Most times the other side seem greener but, as faithful followers we must learn to say "though the other side seem greener but where You've kept for me is good enough for me.

All I Can Say Is Thank You to my Father above and keep this site going. I remember this song as a boy growing up in a great bible teaching church.

Whatever I do, wherever I be. Still 'tis Christ hand that leadeth me.
By waters still, o'er troubled be. Still 'tis His hands that leadeth me.
Are inspiring and uplifting to whenever I am weak and stranded.

Reading Psalm 23:2 and listening to the tunes and reading the song, I am indeed blessed. He indeed leadeth me to cool waters.
