During a quiet time this morning I read Deut 8 and this song, which I have not sung for some time, came to my mind. Though trials and challenges abound, I do not hesitate to embrace this song and its transforming words.

Meditating on romans 12:1-2 and this hymn dropped in my heart. As I sang it, I realized that this is what offering myself to God as a living sacrifice is - total surrender, yielding everything to God.
