This hymn is an old favourite of mine because, in singing it, I became aware of a higher, inner spiritual realm: that realm that we long to move up into. I thank God that the way up is still open as we continue our climb.

I woke up with this hymn on my mind, I just had to find the words to it. I see that the Father wants me to gain higher ground, to strive towards the mark set before me. And indeed He wants this for all His children.
