Come to Me all who toil and are burdened,
And I will give you rest.
Come to Me all who toil and are burdened,
And I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,
For I’m meek and lowly in heart,
And you’ll find rest for your souls.
My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Lord, keep us coming to You. We want to come to You to find rest for our soul. Lord, may Your will be done in our life. We choose Your will – we want to take Your yoke as we rest in You. May we be those who toil for God’s economy by learning from Christ, our pattern. Lord Jesus, we love You! 🙏

I remember singing this in choir when I was in Catholic school. Sometimes I could barely get the words out, I was crying so much because of the beauty of the song and the way God touched my heart as I sang it. It’s truly an inspired hymn.

I really enjoyed this hymn along with the tune. These were the verses the Lord used to bring me to Himself. I was tired of this everyday life. One day my sister gave me a Bible and when I read these verses I knew this was what I needed. I asked for rest and HE supplied HIMSELF as that plus much, much more. Praise HIM !!!

His burden was to Love His Father, this was His yolk, is there a burden lighter than to let Him love me?
