For our gospel did not come to you in word only

Neue Lieder592

For our gospel did not come to you in word only,
For our gospel did not come to you in word only,
But also in power and in the Holy Spirit
But also in power and in the Holy Spirit
And in much assurance,
And in much assurance,

Even as you know what kind of men we were among you,
We were among you for your sake.
Even as you know what kind of men we were among you,
We were among you for your sake.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord,
Having received the word in much affliction with joy,
With joy, with joy of the Holy Spirit.

Praise the Lord, our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the holy spirit. Amen

“Even as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.”

The Lord cares more about our person and living than for what we can do for Him.
