1
My love is like a dove,
In the clefts of the rock,
In the covert of the precipice,
That’s where My love is safe.

At this secret place we meet,
Here your voice, my love, is sweet;
Your countenance is lovely,
And here you’re pleasing to Me.

Let Me hear your voice;
See your countenance;
For your voice is so sweet,
And you’re lovely.

Let Me hear your voice,
See your countenance;
For your voice is so sweet,
And you’re lovely to me.

My love is like a dove,
In the clefts of the rock,
In the covert of the precipice,
That’s where you’re lovely.

At this secret place we meet,
Here your voice, my love, is sweet;
Your countenance is lovely,
And you’re lovely to Me.
