Where is the House

Scriptures for Singing

Neue Lieder402

Where is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?
Where then is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?
Heaven is My throne, and the earth
The footstool for My feet.
Where then is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?

For all these things My hand has made,
And so all these things have come into being,
declares Jehovah.
But to this kind of man will I look, to him who is poor
And of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.

Where then is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?
Where then is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?
Heaven is My throne, and the earth
The footstool for My feet.
Where then is the house you’ll build for Me,
And the place of My rest?

Our God desires to make His home in man. In God's eyes, it is not enough to just have a physical building, which is the temple on the earth. He need us to be willing to Build His House! We are the material for God's building! Hallelujah!!

Praise the Lord for giving us a new spirit, a new heart for His rest and for our satisfaction and contentment, that we may take Him as our everything. Lord may You find rest in our heart. Make home in us as the church, Your dwelling place.
