Experience of Christ Loving Him

From the moment I first met Thee,
How my heart was filled with joy.
Hallelujah! Full joy in me,
As Thou flood me without alloy.
Oh the sweetest love is this first love;
Jesus, O Jesus my love!
Far excelling all other loves,
Such love reaches me.
Such a sweet love, such a true love—
Jesus, O Jesus my love!

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing we should do is say, O Lord Jesus, I love You. O Lord Jesus, I love You. ” How intimate, how sweet, and how affectionate this is!

The moment I first met you Lord my heart was filled with joy. Your love reaches me to the fullness sweetness of a true love. Lord, draw me to spend more time with you everyday and increase my love for you. I LOVE YOU LORD JESUS!

I have a deep experience with this hymn. It helps me to be touched again in the spirit with the Lord. During my wedding ceremony, I did say "Lord! I love You and my sweet Diana, I will love You and thank You..."

Truly when you meet the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, you fall in love with Him. Since God's love is in you, it causes you to love even the unlovely. I thank God I have the love of God in my heart. Mahalo!

I've known this song in mandarin many many years ago. Now it has been translated into English. May we all in the Lord's recovery love the Lord even more through this song which brings us memories of how we first met the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
