1
There are times in my life
When my heart is embittered.
There are questions unanswered,
Yet, You’re drawing me

To enter
Into Your blessed sanctuary
And turning my eyes heavenward,
The questions of constant inquiry
Are changed to these words,
2
Whom do I have in heaven
But You, dear Jehovah.
My flesh and my heart
Constantly fail,

But God’s still
The strength of my heart and my portion;
To Him forever I’ll draw near.
I’ve made Jehovah my sweet refuge.
So now throughout the years
3
Turn my view to see You,
How I need to see Jesus!!
Though I don’t understand
The ways that You take;

Lord, make me
A babe and suckling always praising.
Enjoying Your worth day by day.
Let each experience constitute me
So Your life I’ll display
In every way.

Who do we really have but Jesus?

God is love and we are made in His image, so what every human being wants and needs is love. What every human being is scared of is a love that ends, is a love that is conditional. What I still find hard to get my head around (because it's so hard to understand from a human perspective) is that Jesus loves us, so much, and He will never stop loving us for all eternity no matter what we do. This love is amazing and when the world tries to hurt us we can hide in this love, because with this love what need do we have of the things in the world? How can the world satisfy us when we have the love of God, His grace, His peace?

Truly there is no substitute. :)

Even if it is my first time to hear this song, the message speaks it all and you will really like it. This really speaks our experience. "Though I don't understands the ways that You take. Lord, make me a babe and suckling, always praising. Enjoying Your worth day by day.Let each experience constitute me. So Your life I'll display in every way."

Amen! It's really a very subjective hymn. I was saved, nourished, and strengthened by this song. At times when we are about to give up, He's always there to remind us to turn to Him, drawing us to enter into His blessed sanctuary...

This is one of my favourite hymns. I learned it while I was in my 4th term of the FTTA in 2005. I think one of the sisters in my class wrote it. It is very experienceable. This is really saving me. Often times we fail, but God is still strengthening us to go on in Him.

Yes, there are questions unanswered, but Lord, You're drawing me to Yourself all the time.

Recently this hymn really nourished and encouraged me. Turn my view to see You. How I need to see Jesus... May the Lord's grace and mercy be with me. No matter what situation it is, I just want to enjoy You!! Turn away unto Jesus!!

Praise the Lord, and grace be with all the saints!! I think this is one of my favorite hymns because it touched me deeply. The New York Young People did a great job in singing this hymn, and ever since then, I've been practicing this on the piano.
