Thy word is sweet unto my taste

Scriptures for Singing

Neue Lieder153
1
Thy word is sweet unto my taste,
Yea, sweeter more than honey.
It says to watch and pray that you
May not enter into temptation.

But flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness,
faith, love, and peace.
Whatever you do,
do in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And pursue with those,
Those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Singing and palming, even with our own tune, is so sweet. Lord Jesus, Your word is so sweet to our taste, sweeter than honey. Ps119:97 Oh how I love Your word. All day long it is my musing. Ps1:2 Rather his delight is in the law of Jehovah, and in His law he meditates day and night. Delight = great satisfaction or pleasure. In the Psalms so many words describe our relationship to God’s word. Praise the Lord.

I am enjoying taking Christ one day at a time. There is a need to sing and sing and sing. This way is one of the best ways to get out of my mind and get into Christ. He is the only One that matters!!!!

Watch and Pray-the way to be delivered from temptation. The Word-our sure foundation for us to stand firm and defeat Satan's scheme. Lord, establish Yourself in us, keep us and strengthen us wholly and eternally. Amen!
