Encouragement For Living in the Body

Neue Lieder117
1
I’m thankful that God has placed me
With you to build up His Body.
Christ in you is the hope for me!
You also need Christ lived in me.

I live, if you stand firm in the Lord.
You live, if I stand firm in the Lord.
My going on is for you,
Your going on is for me,
Not sep’rate entities,
I need you saints desp’rately!
2
Oh, what a sweet church life have we!
Built up in Him, His bride to be!
In Him steadfast, you help me be;
Encouraged by Christ whom I see.
3
Your faith in Christ helps me pursue;
My progress depends upon you!
As I seek Christ, with you in view,
My heart, full of prayers, is for you.
4
God’s heart longs, desires that we,
His lovers, seek Him corp’rately.
On each other spent constantly;
My life is for you, yours for me.
5
I want to encourage you all,
Without your supply I would fall.
Never think that your Christ is small.
Christ needs you, and so do we all.

Joining the First home meeting for the year 2026.
I want to encourage you all,
Without your supply I would fall.
Never think that your Christ is small.
Christ needs you, and so do we all.

I live, if you stand firm in the Lord.
You live, if I stand firm in the Lord.
My going on is for you,
Your going on is for me,
Not sep’rate entities,
I need you saints desp’rately!

There is no one inferior in the body of Christ. Each member is equally loved and precious in the side of the Lord. But the Lord wants the members to be built up together practically. This is the church life, and this is the sentiment of this song. This is the life we were meant to live. I have experienced this and it is the greatest joy on earth!

So I can say this:

I live, if you stand firm in the Lord.
You live, if I stand firm in the Lord.
My going on is for you,
Your going on is for me,
Not sep’rate entities,
I need you saints desp’rately!

Praise the Lord! The Lord never forgets us (Isa. 66:12-13) rather, He takes us in His arms, He holds us on the hip, and He bounces us on the knee ; He cherishes us, making us happy, and then He nourishes us with His element for our growth in life to fulfill His purpose. Hallelujah 😀

I love this song. I know the one who wrote the lyrics for this song and the one that supplied the music. This was written from experience in a church life environment full of love. Lord I stand with the companions I have. This is my salvation. This is the life portrayed in Thessalonians.

No matter how limited and worn down we are, someone in the Body is able to build us up as long as we are open to them. Christ is not limited and can supply us through the weakest member. Praise the Lord for all the different saints in the Body of Christ who are depending on us as we likewise are depending on them.
