Journey of Love: Lord, I belong to You

Experience of Christ Loving Him

Neue Lieder1124
1
I lay upon the altar,
Where holy fire will fall,
Consume me into ashes, Lord,
Thus answering Your call.

You came to me to be my sacrifice,
Redeemed me, Lord, with a precious price.
Now I am Yours,
No longer my own,
Now I belong to You,
My God, my Lord alone.
2
By grace I stand forgiven,
To see Your lovely face.
Awaiting Your appearing, Lord,
Sustained by endless grace.

You came to me to be my sacrifice,
Redeemed me, Lord, with a precious price.
Now I am Yours,
No longer my own,
Now I belong to You,
My God, my Lord alone.
3
By life I keep on walking,
I call upon Your name
To live a life of loving You—
Your love with joy proclaim.

To love You more, awaiting Your return,
To live my life, nothing else but You.
My all, my life,
My heart’s real reward,
Fore’er I’ll love You, Lord.
My Love, my God, alone.
4
By mercy so far-reaching,
It spreads through all the earth,
Redeemed to be Your lovely Bride,
Bright witness of Your worth.

To love You more, awaiting Your return,
To live my life, nothing else but You.
My all, my life,
My heart’s real reward,
Fore’er I’ll love You, Lord.
My Love, my God, alone.
5
We’re waiting for Your coming;
The Bridegroom soon will come;
Forever I am joined to You,
The One whom I adore.

To love You more, awaiting Your return,
To live my life, nothing else but You.
My all, my life,
My heart’s real reward,
Fore’er I’ll love You, Lord.
My Love, my God, alone.

I will, I can, His Love is attracted to me, That, when I travel, on His path of righteousness of faith, until I see glorious face. If He decides to take me, to wait and see in store from Him, Living for Him. A child of God, and He is my Beginner, of my faith's work and will, and He is my Finisher, He's my Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Since Christ in me alone, I surely will be taken up by Him, waiting and watching. Until His final sweetest voice, "Come, come, my slave of Christ ". I believe. Until I am finished my course, I have kept God's faith and His promise.
