This hymn reminds us how we become part of God's masterpiece. It is not by our own effort but rather by Christ's death on the cross and in His resurrection, now as the life-giving Spirit being imparted into us. Praise the Lord.

Reminds me of my experience of Christ of how He captured my heart...there's no turning back!!! Everyday I just want to tell You, Lord, I love because You first loved me, until my last breath...Lord, thank You I'm part of Your masterpiece-THE CHURCH.

We are God's poiema, God's masterpiece. The heavens, the earth, man are all not God's masterpiece: but the church, the Body of Christ, is a masterpiece. We are a poem expressing God's infinite wisdom and divine design. Imagine that! We are God's masterpiece!

What a gospel it is that God the Creator became a God-man for producing the church, His masterpiece, in resurrection! And what an honor it is to be included in His masterpiece, being part of it! No wonder my heart sprang when hearing the song and singing stanzas 2 and 3--what a response to the gospel in stanza 1. This is the gospel I'd like to bring with me wherever I go and that is God the Creator became a God-man, thru and in a process, He produced the church, a wonderful work, His masterpiece! Come! Lord Jesus.
