Lord Jesus, I love You

Experience of Christ Love for Him

Long Beach Songbook44
1
Lord Jesus, I love You,
No other one for me will do.
I love You, just love You.
Without You, Lord, I am through.

No other one for me will do.
My heart is drawn, I just love You.
I just love You, dear Lord.
2
As mercy, You reached me.
You laid aside Your glory.
You’re God, Lord, the Almighty,
Yes You became a slave for me.

What kind of love You have for man,
Beyond our power to comprehend!
I love You, Lord Jesus.
3
I’m evil and fallen.
My nature, Lord, is just sin.
You’re righteous and holy.
All that You are was condemning me.

What made You Lord to die for me?
You joined man’s race and took my place,
Redeeming us Jesus.
4
You died, Lord, on Calvary.
Your blood is flowing now for me.
Your blood, Lord, is precious.
O, what a price You paid for us!

No tongue or pen can ever tell:
Your mercy reached me down in hell.
You reached me, Lord Jesus.

Amen - we Love You Lord Jesus! Brother Higashi, who is now with the Lord he loves, penned this truly. Lord Jesus, thank You for Your work on the cross, and Your work in us. Thank You that You are the ever-faithful one, without whom we would be totally incapable of love. We are for You, because You claimed us for Your own. May we all know You so deeply, and love You so truly.

I like this song because it touches my heart and refreshes my soul. The lyrics of this song express our love to our God, who first loved us.

This song is wonderful. I like the words and the music. This song was truly written by someone with a lot of enjoyment and love for the Lord. I want to enjoy the Lord and really love Him like this brother. By singing this song it encourages me to love the Lord Jesus a little more.
