No longer I! No longer I!
Christ in me I'll testify!
No longer I! No longer I!
Christ in me I'll testify! Oh Lord Jesus ….

"And He said to them all, If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me." (Luke 9:23) Recovery Version

Lord, we thank You for terminating our old life and germinating us with Your new life, the eternal life of the Triune God, for the Body of Christ

Praise the Lord, through our baptism we become kingdom people receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and living in newness of life. Hallelujah 😀

This short song is a very simple but profound experience of the Apostle Paul recorded in his epistle to the Galatians. This should be our realization and experience. This is a true testimony of God in us changing us into His likeness, The saints sang this song at my baptism around 1970 in Mansfield. I can now say confidently it is no longer I that live but Christ lives in me my all to be. In all honesty that old man Adam pops up to easily. But I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me!
