As a reluctant draftee during the Vietnam era that song was truly a comfort and blessing to me!

I had never heard it until I was in a religious service in station in Texas. It brought comfort before being shipped to Vietnam!

~As I was digging into Lamentations 4:8, and thinking back to the Spiritual famine in which I lived, apart from THE LORD, and to where HE has brought me (still imperfect…but HE’S working! ), these words came joyfully screaming into my mind and heart…

~”PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM “ALL” BLESSINGS FLOW……. ”

I am part of a text chain of men who worship God. Our group leader placed an afternoon call for all men to Praise God. I remembered this song as a young boy in church about 40 years ago. I always sing it to myself, but now shared it with the others as a form of Praise and Worship.

The song reminds me of how we are going to be singing God’s praise for eternity in heaven. My soul shall magnify the Lord all the days of my live here bellow. Amen!

I will be going to bless the high-schoolers of two local schools next week (D. V. ) and I asked the LORD how should I open in prayer. And He gave me the first verse of this hymn. Amazing are His ways!

In recent years since Covid, a sweet fellow church member suggested to the congregation that instead of humming the "happy birthday" tune while washing your hands, to sing or hum the first verse of the doxology. I must say, it has been a tremendous blessing for me since she suggested it! Thank you Lord for laying it on her heart to share with us!!! It has brought about more opportunities to commune with the Lord throughout my day.
