I sing praise and gratitude to Him yet again today. I'm having a relatively pain-free day and I praise God! I thank Him for everything He's given me and everything He's taken from me.

Years before I became a believer I was singing this song every school day along with the reciting Lords prayer. I now believe the seeds of faith were planted long before I would, through a series of events, become a Christian.

Praise God... from whom All Blessings flow..

My childhood favourite song in the Baptist Church. Their is no time I hear this song and the Holy Spirit will not sooth my soul and manifest Himself in a Special way in my life. The influence is so magnifying even now.

Forever, he is our God.

I am delighted to have stumbled upon this wonderful website. I look forward to using it frequently. I wanted to change things up when giving our Lord thanks & had the desire to sing this song, which I often sang as a child at meal time. Being a little uncertain of the 3rd line I decided to research the lyrics. What a wonderful surprise to find Hymnal.net which also provides an accompaniment; and many other old favorites as well!

I’d never heard the second verse, although I attend a Presbyterian church. I was not raised Presbyterian. I just started attending a Presbyterian church the last couple of years.
