All Scripture is the very breath of God

Study of the Word The Function of the Word

English799
1
All Scripture is the very breath of God,
And by His Spirit into words was breathed;
By godly men the words were written down,
With all God’s fullness unto man bequeathed.
2
It is the breath of God as light to man,
With rays divine man to illuminate;
It shines in darkness and to man reveals
What is his truest need and actual state.
3
It is the breath of God as life to man,
Nature divine to man it doth impart;
The dead it quickens and regenerates,
Transforms the soul-life and renews the heart.
4
It is the breath of God as wisdom too,
Knowledge divine to man it has to teach;
Th’ eternal purpose of the Lord it shows,
And leadeth man God’s final goal to reach.
5
It is the breath of God as strength to man,
Power divine to man it doth transmit,
Strength’ning the weak, empowering the faint,
Enabling man God’s purpose full to fit.
6
It is the breath of God for us to breathe,
That as our portion God we may enjoy;
Receiving it by spirits exercised,
Our need is met, His wealth we may employ.

How wonderful that we can breathe in His breathing out. This is the heavenly CPR resuscitating us from a dead state. Thank God for the written Word we can breathe in.

Breathing is moment by moment. Since All Scripture is God breathed, to breathe in the word of God is also moment by moment. Breathing the word of God moment by moment gives no time to analyze it into our fallen mind. However our being is nourished and refreshed by receiving the Word this way is just like man’s blood receiving oxygen moment by moment to refresh man and energizing man. Praise the Lord for the ministry of the Word of God!

Amen! All Scripture is God's very breath, breathe to us into words by His Spirit.

The breath of God is light to man to illuminate him; and it shines in the darkness to reveal to man what his true need and actual state is.

The breath of God is life to man to impart the divine nature into him; and it quickens and regenerates the dead, transforms the soul-life and renews the heart.

The breath of God is wisdom too, to teach man the divine knowledge; and it shows the Lord's eternal purpose, to lead man to reach God's final goal.

The breath of God is strength to man, to transmit the divine power to him; and it strengthens the weak and empowers the faint, to enable man fully fit for God's purpose.

The breath of God is for us to breathe, that we may enjoy God as our portion; and we receive Him by exercising our spirit, to avail of God's wealth and meet our need.

All the divine attributes of The Lord is revealed in this Hymn. All Scripture is God's breath, God's speaking is His breathing. Whenever God speaks, His breath conveys His element into the ones who receive His word. God is light, life, wisdom, strength to man. As we breathe His word we imparts them in our being. Receiving it by spirits exercised our need is met and His wealth we may employ. Hallelujah!
