Revive Thy work, O Lord

Revive me and many who have gone lukewarm and make us fervent in prayer and worship to the salvation of soils and the glory of thy holy name. Amen

Lord, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord.
Repeat them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy.

O Lord, revive your work in me that I may be who you want me to be.

That I may grasp the very reason You grasped me.

And that the community in which You chose to locate might experience the very thing that You posted me to do in the name of Jesus.

1860, and again in a large number of hymnals in Great Britain and America. First written by Albert Midlane and later adapted by Fanny Crosby. Her version is what is published in hymnal. net as “Revive Thy Work O Lord! Now to Thy saints appear!

Albert Midlane was born in Newport on the Isle of Wight, January 23, 1825. A business man, but, being a Sunday school teacher, he was inspired to write verses for children. He became a frequent and acceptable, hymn-writer, both for the young and for general use. There are at least 300 hymns credited to Mr. Midlane.

May ur blessings shower upon me and my family

Revive, Oh Lord Revive thy works. May your lamp lighted in our hearts be ever aflame. Amen

In times like this were the secret word as scars we need deep revival that will convince the world sin especially in our churches "oh Lord please revive your word".

Revive thy work O Lord, make known your greatness to all the people's of the world that they must know you are the only God.

Lord, revive us from deep within, that we may experience an overflow of your power, your love, your humility. Let your power be made manifest as in the days of old. And the light of your glory invade this dark world and draw men to behold the wonders of your salvation 🙏🏿

Revive, dear saviour, hope and help of mankind.

Revive and rekindle our love, faith and fire to glow endlessly, until we behold you, in glory.
