What a Spirit filled worship song of the Almighty God. I love it.

This song is a blessing. I feel connected to Him each time I sing this song. Blessed be the name of Lord forever!

God is still Holy in all His splendor and yet still alive! During this time of the pandemic He is yet still Holy and Reign. He has gotten the world's attention and reminded us that we are the church because He lives in us. Many have returned back to Him and we are to praise and lift Him up! This hymnal blessed my soul this morning. 🙏 He is truly a God of mercy. ❤

Stanza 1 - blessed Trinity

Rev. 4:8b ... Holy, holy, holy, Lord God the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.

Footnotes 1- The mentioning of holy three times, as in Isa. 6:3, implies that God is triune.

Stanza 2 - holiness and glory

The twenty-four elders will fall before Him who sits upon the throne, and they will cast their crowns before the throne (Rev. 4:10); And before the throne there was as it were a glassy sea ... (Rev. 4:6).

As the seraphim, they are for God’s holiness (Isa. 6:3), referring to God’s nature.

As the cherubim, they are for God’s glory (Ezek. 10:18-19; Herb. 9:5), referring to God’s expression.
