Grace in its highest definition is

Experience of Christ As Grace

English497
1
Grace in its highest definition is
God in the Son to be enjoyed by us;
It is not only something done or giv’n,
But God Himself, our portion glorious.
2
God is incarnate in the flesh that we
Him may receive, experience ourself;
This is the grace which we receive of God,
Which comes thru Christ and which is Christ Himself.
3
Paul the Apostle counted all as dung,
’Twas only God in Christ he counted grace;
’Tis by this grace—the Lord experienced—
That he surpassed the others in the race.
4
It is this grace—Christ as our inward strength—
Which with His all-sufficiency doth fill;
It is this grace which in our spirit is,
There energizing, working out God’s will.
5
This grace, which is the living Christ Himself,
Is what we need and must experience;
Lord, may we know this grace and by it live,
Thyself increasingly as grace to sense.

"But Noah found favor in the sight of Jehovah." (Genesis 6:8)

favor Or, grace. Noah was able to walk with God in that crooked, perverted, and adulterous generation because he found grace (cf. Heb. 4:16). Grace is God coming to us to be our life supply, our strength, and our everything. Such grace enabled Noah to overcome the flesh and to live a righteous life.

Grace is the highest definition of God incarnate reaching to the fallen man through his only begotten son Jesus Christ. We just need him to be our life. Lord grant us your experiences.

It’s such a wonderful song.

God is real and full of grace. You can not separate Grace from Christ. They subsist together. The definition of grace in this hymn is very profound. Because Christ reaches us by the Spirit where we’re as our supply , our portion, and our enjoyment. His grace is sufficient for all our life. This is not a common understanding. This hymn is full of riches that we should be enjoying experientially.

“Grace in its highest definition is
God in the Son to be enjoyed by us;
It is not only something done or giv’n,
But God Himself, our portion glorious. ”
John 1:17 Recovery Version

For the law was given through Moses; grace and reality came through Jesus Christ.

For reference:

John 1:17 New American Standard Bible

For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized [became real] through Jesus Christ.

John 1:17 Darby Bible Translation

For the law was given by Moses: grace and truth subsists through Jesus Christ.

We are in the age of grace. We only need to receive Him by faith.

THE SPIRIT OF GRACE

--------------------------------

This book also tells us that the Spirit is the Spirit of grace (10:29). The Spirit of grace simply means that the Triune God in the Son as the Spirit becomes our enjoyment. The Spirit is the reaching of the Triune God to us. The Son could not get into us until He became the Spirit. He was among the disciples, but He needed to go through death and resurrection to become the life-giving Spirit (John 14:16-20 ; 1 Cor. 15:45). Then He was able to breathe Himself as the Holy Breath into the disciples for their enjoyment (John 20:22).

When the Bible uses expressions such as the Spirit of grace, the Spirit of life, and the Spirit of reality, this means that the Spirit is grace, life, and reality. Therefore, when we are the partakers of the Holy Spirit, this means that we are the partakers of the Holy Spirit as grace. The Holy Spirit is our possession, and grace is our possession. It is always better to pray, “Thank You, Lord, for another day, a new day, and thank You that I have the grace to live You today. ” The Spirit of grace is the eternal Spirit; hence, the grace is eternal. The grace that we have received is the eternal grace, which is the eternal, unlimited Spirit. It is inexhaustible.

THE DEFINITION OF GRACE

----------------------------------------

The Gospel of John reveals that God came in the way of incarnation. The Word, who was God, became flesh and tabernacled among us, full of grace (1:14). Hymns, #497 tells us that grace in its highest definition is God in the Son to be enjoyed by us. Grace is God in the Son for our enjoyment. Many of us enjoy eating steak. Steak is beef, and beef is a small part of a big cow. The only way that such a big cow could be our enjoyment is by processing it. The cow must first be killed and then cut into pieces. Cutting alone, however, is not adequate. These pieces of steak must be cooked. After such a long process, the beef is now available to us. In like manner, for God to be our enjoyment in the Son, He must be processed.

We have seen that the Word was God, and this Word became flesh, full of grace. John 1:17 tells us that the law was given through Moses, but grace came through Jesus Christ. John 3:16 tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. ” God has given us a unique gift, and this gift is nothing less than His only begotten Son. John 3:16 is directly related to John 1:14 . God gave His Son to us by incarnation. If God had never become a man, how could He have given His Son to us? God gave His Son to us by becoming a man. Actually John 1:14 explains John 3:16 , and John 3:16 defines John 1:14 . By putting these two verses together, we have the right understanding of the divine fact that God has given Himself in the person of the Son by the way of incarnation. Although the Son is such a gift, before our receiving of Him, He is not grace to us. When we receive Him, He immediately becomes the grace.

Amen saints!
Amen per questo Spirito Vivificante!
Italian:
La grazia nel supremo senso è
Dio che noi Godiamo nel Figliol;
non è soltanto atti_o doni Suoi,
ma Dio stesso, nostra gran porzion.
Dio è incarnato affinché
Lo riceviam e Lo sprimentiam.
Quest’è la grazia che con Cristo vien;
è Cristo stesso, _e noi la riceviam.
Paolo_ogni altra cosa disprezzò,
la grazia - Dio in Cristo - esaltò;
sperimentando questa grazia, lui
gli altri nella gara sorpassò.
La grazia, _il Cristo che dimora_in noi,
la forza sufficiente ci darà;
è l’energia nello spirito
che_esegue la divina volontà.
La grazia che il vivo Cristo è
dobbiamo noi sperimentar ognor;
per questa grazia vivere vogliam,
sentirTi quale grazia, O Signor.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your(our) spirit! (Gal. 6:18)

The Lord be with your(our) spirit. Grace be with you(us)! (2 Tim 4:22)

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your(our) spirit. (Phil. 4:23; Philem. 1:25)

The grace of Jesus Christ is the bountiful supply of the Triune God (who is embodied in the Son and realized as the life-giving Spirit) enjoyed by us through the exercise of our human, regenerated spirit.

Grace is God in Christ as our supply and enjoyment, conveyed to us and realized through the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:19).

This grace, which is in the eternal & indestructible life, is nothing less than Christ, the Son of God, who is the very embodiment of the divine life, dwelling and living in our spirit. We need to exercise our spirit day by day to enjoy the riches of this Christ (Eph. 3:8) as our sufficient grace (2 Cor. 12:9).
