When I was a little boy, my late sister Vou Toma (Dongs) and cousin - Garose Yohanna (Rose Pam) used to sing this song. And I loved and cherished everything about them. My sister has gone to be with the Lord. Her posthumous birthday was yesterday 9th October. Coincidentally this song popped up and I been singing it since yesterday to the glory of God.

This illustrates the fact that we can enjoy Christ item by item. The sinner who believes in Christ will enjoy Him as at least two items—the Redeemer and the life-giving Spirit. In other words, he will enjoy Christ’s redemption and His life. We can all testify strongly, “Hallelujah, Christ is my Redeemer, and Christ is the life-giving Spirit. I have been redeemed by His blood, and I have been regenerated by His life. ” This is only the beginning of the enjoyment of what Christ is. We may say that these two items of Christ are appetizers in a great feast.
