Create in me a clean heart, O God

Praise the Lord! Thank You for Your pure heart toward us who believe!

Cast me not away from Thy presence;
Take not Thy holy Spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation;
And renew a right spirit within me.

Love this song of prayer.

This song is a very good song for consecration. It always shows me no matter how great my sin God is willing to take me back in the kingdom. I have a second chance.

My God create in me a pure heart.
Wipe away all impuritues so that
I may serve you with purity all the
days if my life. Give me the strength
to confess my sins do that I can obtain
the graces needed to enter your Kingdom
when I die. Help me to see beyond this
world and bring peace to my broken heart.
Mend it and allow me to become most pure.
For this I Thank You.

Create in me a clean heart!

Lord, create in me a clean heart! Restore the joy of Your salvation in me! Occupy every room in my heart so that I may love You more and more each day!

Gail - we sing it in church often. It's a common hymn that can be found in most hymnals. It's Psalms 51:10.

I love this! I'd like to get permission to use in our church. Anybody know how to contact composer?

Song that touched my heart since the beginning and turned me into Christian.
