Light comes from God alone and does not come from man. Man’s fire will never bring about genuine spiritual sight.

Our own fire can never be the source of spiritual light. Some Christians have said, “How can you say that I was wrong? I do not think that I was at all wrong. I do not feel that I was wrong at all. ” You may think that you are not wrong, you may feel that you are not wrong, and you may believe that you are not wrong, but are you reliable? Some Christians have said, “I have considered a certain matter for a long time. I can say for sure that it should be done this way or that way. ” Can you make judgment just because you have thought a matter over? According to God’s Word, this is not the way for Christians to know things. You can try your best to think, but what you come up with is just human fire. A Christian cannot go on in the spiritual pathway by his own fire. He should trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God. Only then will he see and only then will he be able to go on in the spiritual pathway. Many times, the more we think by ourselves, the more confused and deceived we become. We must see that spiritual light does not come from our feelings or our thoughts. The more a person searches inwardly for light, the more he will not find light, because light is not there.
Let us read Psalm 36:9 : “For with You is the fountain of life; / In Your light we see light. ” This shows us that through God’s light, a man sees light and the true condition of things. “In Your light we see light. ” The first light is the enlightening light, and the second light denotes the true nature of things. This means that we can only see the true nature of anything when we are in the light of God. One only sees the true nature of something when he lives in God’s light.

Where is life? Life is in those who believe into Him. This is absolutely true, but how does life enter into man? We need to see that life is the light of man. Psalm 36:9 says, “With You is the fountain of life; / In Your light we see light. ” Please remember, life is in the light, and this life is the light of man. Wherever the light shines, life comes in. Wherever life comes, the Spirit is also there. Wherever the Spirit is, Christ is there. Wherever Christ is, God is there. Wherever God is, life is there. Life is in the light.
Where is the light? The light is in the word of God. The words that the Lord speaks to us are spirit and life (John 6:63). We minister God’s word because we hope that God’s word will enter into everyone. As soon as God’s word enters into man, it becomes light. As soon as we receive light inwardly, we have life. When light is received by man, it becomes life. Moreover, life is the Spirit, the Spirit is Christ, and Christ is God. This is not a theory but a spiritual reality. Everyone who has experienced this will bow in worship and say Amen.
Whenever we touch the Lord’s word, the word becomes light in us, and the word becomes life to satisfy our hunger. We feel that we are eating of the fatness and drinking of the river of His pleasures, and we are full of God’s presence, full of Christ’s supply, and filled with the Triune God inwardly. Therefore, when God’s word operates and starts to have an effect on us and if we willingly obey, we are immediately filled with light, life, the Spirit’s presence, Christ, and God. In this way people sense God, Christ, the Spirit, life, light, and God’s word in us when they contact us. We should always remember that life is God, God is in Christ, Christ is the Spirit, the Spirit is life, life is light, and light comes from God’s word.

Clearly, this author is not satisfied to read about theology or simply bieve in orthodoxy. He wanted the actual life behind the words, the reality behind the promises. This Jesus will do for those who have His word and keep it, and He will manifest Himself to them. Then all the promises come true in Christ Jesus. We are then living as dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Him. Brothers and sisters, don't stop longing for the fullness; keep going until it breaks on you!
