This is a CATHOLIC Hymn... Sorry but it is! Does the C of E need strip us of even our hymns?
2nd verse is (stanza):

Because of the Faith of Our Fathers that being my parents their parents the old ones in the church my faith was established because they pointed me to Jesus they led me to Him and He as only He can do provided Living Water for me establishing my faith to pass on to Future generations and now I am one of the fathers whose faith my children and grandchildren look up to as they continue to sow the seeds of the gospel for the Lord of the Harvest to reap.
