Take the name of Jesus with you, Child of sorrow and of woe; It will joy and comfort give you, Take it then where'er you go. |
Precious name! Oh, how sweet! Hope of earth and joy of heav'n; Precious name! Oh, how sweet! Hope of earth and joy of heav'n. |

Take the name of Jesus ever, As a shield from every snare. If temptations round you gather, Breathe that holy name in prayer. |

This hymn is sung in our divine worship services on Sundays. It is a very anointed song. Hymns such as this is a lost art; and is not favored in these new age ministries. The young people cannot relate. This is why I make it my duty as a Child of the Most High King and as a Worship leader to preserve these priceless hymns by introducing them at worship services. May the Lord be glorified, His children be edified, and the devil horrified.
