A beautiful hymn that I remembered last night before falling asleep, I remember singing this in our church in the 90's and when you listen to how profound the words are, "looking full into His face" and all the things of the earth will slowly disappear, and all I see id Jesus, and all I want to do is pray and speak to Him constantly. My mother used to love this as well, and I remember her facial expressions singing this song.
Unfortunately the churches I have attended do not sing such beautiful hymns anymore.

My condolences @Eloisa Marseille, I feel so sorry for your loss. I also lost my mother last year. Even though she was 79, nothing really consoles me.
I would like to encourage you to keep the faith and keep singing the hymn. Your Mom's aim was to use the hymn to connect you to the Lord Jesus, and you now have the baton to do the same to the next generation. If it makes your heart sore then take your time to cry it out that's how we heal.
May the peace of our LORD Jesus Christ be using all.

I woke up this morning with this song in my mind singing it gives me great Joy cause I know I just have to keep my eyes on him all other things in my life will fall into place. No greater joy than to know that turning our eyes to him and the things that cause us worry will grow dim.
