I need Thee every hour

I need Thee every hour: A song of comfort when my husband Daniel Olufunso Yoloye went to be with the Lord. 25th Sept. 2011

I am blessed to have come here when this song came to me today. My heart is downcast from the events in the world. How comforting to be encouraged by the hymn, but also, by the comments of those who have come here and received solace as well. May the LORD be near by to us all this day and forevermore. May we be blessed as we come to the One who is ever faithful to bless.

Without God, we cannot do anything, but says in his book, "With God all things are possible" This l have tested on many occasion, and He has never fail me. He is most reliable Friend, who will never desert you in your days of trial. What a Friend, we really have in Him. No other. Bless you all.

Amen Kathi, Amen! Oh Lord we so need you. Right now. Right here. And forever...Only if you are our Shepherd shall we not be in want!

I don't know for sure why this hymn popped into my head this morning, but the truth of it in my desperation cannot be denied. And not only as I sang it was I uplifted, but I thought, too, of the author and his/her great necessity. Then, as I read the comments from all over the world, Christians with hearts that crave Him and cry out to Him as mine does, I was especially blessed and calmed and made joyful. Thank You, dear, dear Savior.

Lord, I need Thee every hour. Even when I may forget and try to look for another answer, solution or rest remind me-it's You that I need every hour, even this very hour.

When my family is far away or when I feel lonely, this hymn lifts my spirits. It reassures me everyday of His love for me. However long or hard the road ahead will be, God will see you through.

His plans for us are perfect.

The song always comes up to my mind when I feel depressed. Yes I need Him every hour even every moment to enjoy His dispensing thru the hymns. The Lord is there no matter what situation I am. He is taking care of my case and interceding for me before God. How wonderful this hymn is!

The song always lifts my spirit every time I listen to it. May God bless the people who put these together for our listening pleasure. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to express our comments too. Shallom.

What a wonderful hymn. It surely touched me when I was depressed by the enemy. It is interesting how the Lord Jesus allows such a situation, but that's exactly why we need Him. If we don't take Him in that time, we will become more depressed and be unable to function as a normal human.
