Loved with everlasting love

What a glorious hymn of assurance. It used to be one of the hymns we loved to sign when I was at Lusaka Baptist Church. It. If a believer has Christ then all is well.

Oh, to lie forever here,
Doubt and care and self resign,
While He whispers in my ear,
I am His, and He is mine.
Praise be to God! The Lord said to Abram,

“.... Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. ”

Genesis 15:1 NIV

What more could we need? When we have God, we have everything!

Blessed Assurance
His yolk is easy His burden is light
He blood covers me
All Glory to Him
King of Kings
My hope is His return soon
Prince of Peace

What security! I am His, and He is mine! In a world that is seeing troublesome times, I am secure in Christ and need not fear.

I was led to look up this hymn this morning... I love the Lord, but oh! to love him MORE!

Thankyou for all your testimonies! Let us plan to meet together in glory -along with the author of this hymn😁- to share our stories and glorify the one who “led (us) by grace that love to know”!

Something lives in every hue

Christless eyes have never seen.

I first sang this as a teenager and these were the words that struck a chord... I saw the world around me differently from my school friends because I saw it through the eyes of the Creator and how beautiful that has always made it to me - the work of His hands... that it is very good. The world that is now groaning, as those uneedeemed are, under the weight of sin. Let us bring others to faith in Jesus so that they too see His beauty.

I am His and He is mine.
Who the Lord and me shall shall part?
I am His and He is mine

Oh to lie forever here, doubt and care and self resign, while He whispers in my ear, I am His and He is mine. This is what He wants, a people who resign and fully rely on Him.

"Things that once were wild alarms

Cannot now disturb my rest..." Thanks be to God in Christ this is true for me and for all who are growing in Christ the Lord. Such sweet truths here.

How wonderful to know God’s everlasting love and to know underneath are His everlasting arms holding me. While God and I shall be, I am His and He is mine.
