Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bid'st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!

I am, with

And that Thou bid'st

Gto Thee,
O Lamb

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
4
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
6
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Am a mother of four, currently job hunting and my passion and talent is in the media. I have done a different course though.
I have a contact of a very senior media personality, everytime I want to call him, I feel not prepared. I have been practising so as to have the best impression. At some point I said to myself that am tired of this. I thought of how I go to Jesus without appointments at any time, anywhere and remembered this epic song that I once sang in secondry school. "Just as I am, I come" As I sing, tears just flow.

I was so touched this morning, I heard the song clearly in my dream world and I woke up to glorify Him for reaching out to me in such a glorious way.
May His name alone be praised.

My father-in-law is getting ready to go home. Recently he got saved. He keeps playing this song over and over with tears streaming down his face. Glory to God!

When I was 24, back in 1977, I watched a crusade on TV. I gave my life to the Lord watching Reverend Graham. His words from God made my Catholic faith come alive. And the words to this song “just as I am” reminds me that He loves me for myself.

I am a native of Panama now living in CA. The Crusade came to Panama while I was in high school my sister in junior high. We both sang in the choir. My mother, a counselor at the altar. It was an experience I will never forget. I am now 73. When Billy Graham said “Come with those eyes piercings your very soul“ people just came.
It was also the first time I sang “ How Great Thou Art “.
I remember Clift Barrows and George Beverly Shea. Their voices??

This was the hymn that was sung during my baptism. Now, 47 years later, it holds even more meaning for me. I'm a Catholic now, and unfortunately we don't generally sing this song at Mass.

American Evangelist Billy Graham died recently. At the end of his Crusades, this hymn would be played, and the audience would sing the lyrics. I would go on about one of Billy's controversial quotes, but this hymn really should be what Mr, Graham is all about; leading the lost to Christ. The lyrics are so great. Well done, good and faithful Mr. Graham. May Christ welcome Billy into Heaven with loving arms.
