Though your sins be as scarlet

Gospel Persuasion

English1037
1
"Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they be red as crimson,
They shall be as wool;"
"Though your sins be as scarlet,
Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow,
They shall be as white as snow.
2
Hear the voice that entreats you,
O return ye unto God!
Hear the voice that entreats you,
O return ye unto God!
He is of great compassion,
And of wondrous love;
Hear the voice that entreats you,
Hear the voice that entreats you,
O return ye unto God!
O return ye unto God!
3
He'll forgive your transgressions,
And remember them no more;
He'll forgive your transgressions,
And remember them no more;
"Look unto Me, ye people,"
Saith the Lord your God!
He'll forgive your transgressions,
He'll forgive your transgressions,
And remember them no more,
And remember them no more.

This song is amazing, how God loves us so much that He will not remember our sin no more. Hallelujah!

This song fill my heart with joy. I thank God for His loving caring and His tender mercy towards me. Through it all I have learn to depend upon His word. Though my sin be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Thank You Jesus, thank You Lord. How powerful is Your name. You are the master of all creation. You are worthy to be praise. Lord I love You.

I was doing a bible study and the words though your sins.....came up and I remembered the song and began to sing it. I did not have the words so I began to look online for it. Praise God I found it. I will use it for our choir. It is so wonderful. Praise His Holy Name......

I was adopted by a very old man, and this was his very favorite hymn. He often requested it in church - but as nobody knew the words or music - until he died in 1964 he never got to hear it. Neither did I, until now.

Thank you.

I love this song, It is one the most inspired song from Crosby, It is instrumental to my salvation and brought great assurance to my soul whenever I listened to it.

I went to the altar and gave my life to Jesus while the congregation was singing this song in 1963. I was 13 years old then, and have never forgotten this wonderful hymn of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool. This is our pitiful condition at heart...sins as scarlet and as red as crimson. Heretofore, praise the Lord!!!

We hear the voice that entreats us to return unto God. The entreating voice of great compassion and of wondrous love of God. We have to hearken to the entreating voice of God and return ye unto God!

He'll forgive your transgressions and remember our sins no more...this is what the Lord your God saith : Look unto Me, ye people. Look unto the Lord your God who will forgive your transgressions and remember them no more!
