Lord Jesus, You’re lovely

Experience of Christ Loving Him

1
Lord Jesus, You’re lovely.
You’re more to be desired,
Than any earthly pleasure.
You’re fine, beyond compare.
Lord Jesus, Your beauty
Does far exceed all others.
You’re comely and You’re tender.
You’re radiant and You’re fair.
2
When I behold You Jesus,
You draw my heart completely.
I cannot turn away Lord,
I rest in Your embrace;
And time is gone there’s only
Your holy, matchless presence
Abiding in You, gazing
Upon Your glorious face.
3
I give my life to You Lord,
For You alone are worthy.
There’s nothing and there’s no one
That I desire but You.
May all my days be Yours, Lord,
My heart be given to love You,
To treasure and to serve You
By Your sufficient grace.

We can see Jn. 17:22a - 23a here. " And the glory which You have given Me I have given them,"...

Your holy matchless presence
Abiding in You, gazing
Upon Your glorious face (He gives has given us)
("I in them, and You in Me,"... )
May all our days be Yours Lord mutually blended
So many hearts today be given to love You,
To treasure and to serve You
By Your all-sufficient grace.

daily, even moment by moment, when we behold Him, our heart is drawn completely and we can find true and real rest in His embracing of us. in our beholding Him, it is as if time ceases and the only thing that matters in that moment is His presence. Lord, fill our days and and moments with beholding You!

This song is so sweet. And I love the melody too, it's not too hard to learn.

Verse 1 describes the beauty of our Lord Jesus, Verse 2 describes how we can't turn our eyes away from Him. And Verse 3 ends with us giving ourselves to the Lord to serve Him!

I recorded a guitar cover of this song if anyone needs help learning it!
