O to be like Thee

Longings For Likeness to Christ

English398
1
O to be like Thee! blessed Redeemer;
This is my constant longing and prayer;
Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,
Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.

O to be like Thee! O to be like Thee!
Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art;
Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.
2
O to be like Thee! full of compassion,
Loving, forgiving, tender and kind,
Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,
Seeking the wand’ring sinners to find.
3
O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit,
Holy and harmless, patient and brave;
Meekly enduring cruel reproaches,
Willing to suffer, others to save.
4
O to be like Thee! Lord, I am coming,
Now to receive th’ anointing divine;
All that I am and have I am bringing;
Lord, from this moment all shall be Thine.
5
O to be like Thee! While I am pleading
Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love.
Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling,
Fit for a life which Thou wouldst approve.

My greatest and only desire is to be like Jesus, and to have my family and grandchildren serve Him with the whole heart. May the God of grace and mercy, shower His blessings upon us all who're called by His name, as we rest with Him on this His Holy Day Of Rest the (SABBATH)

My Abba brought this beautiful hymn to my ❤ this morning. To be more like my Savior, the great desire of my heart; to have my children and grandchildren adore Him, also my great longing. God bless and protect my brothers and sisters in Christ around this troubled world. amen

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. ”

Meditating on the holiness and purity of our Most Holy God this morning, faithful in all things. ‘Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling, fit for a life which Thou wouldst approve. ”

Preparing a message and the hymn dropped in my heart. Left the message to look for it and listen to it played.

I've been ministered to again. May we come to the FULLNESS of Christ Jesus in our lives in Jesus name. God bless
