Recently read, Expecting the Lord's Blessing, by Watchman Nee. Now this hymn means so much more. Without His blessing all that we do even if it be spiritual and right will be in vain. When we have the Lord's blessing even when it seems that we are wrong or in error it will appear that we were never in the wrong. God withholds no good thing from us but when we expect results based upon our own capacity rather than expecting God's blessing we miss what God has. Lord give us a vision of your blessing in this age!

You are right Brother Bob, "whatever we receive from God is not for us but for others", no longer ours alone but for the Church. Everything we receive we should give; this is how we are blessed to bless, all for the Body.

this hymn is such an encouragement and a reminder that whatever we receive from God is not for us but for others. I praise the Lord for all His blessings upon me and I pray that I too we become a blessing to His body and have a part in His eternal plan.
