There comes a time when the Lord will expose our heart and we can only say, "Forgive me if I've left my first love." I thank the Lord for being faithful. This hymn reminded me that the Lord has the right to take all that I love other than Him to replace them with Himself. We need to learn to declare "Do not give all that I want." May we love the Lord with such preeminence. Lord, continue to draw us!
