I really enjoy the inspiration provided in hymns. The man who wrote this really saw our pitiful condition and how we are saved by grace. There is a sentiment here that touches my renewed mind. The song points to what Christ has done and how crucial our fellowship with Him Is.! Yes, we can have fellowship with the very God and be one with Him! We must experience this every day!
How I have been appreciating God's Christ this morning. He is the One commissioned and annointed by God to carry out all of His desires, His divine, eternal will. How much confidence God has in Him. How much we can trust Him too to bring us absolutely to where God wants us to be. This thought is so sweet and comforting to me. This hymn came to me this morning, but didn't realize the last stanza would even hold a deeper thought of God's Christ. How much He loves!
With water clean He sprinkled me...stone heart with heart of flesh replaced. Lord, thank You for setting us free and for changing our heart. God’s Christ is now my dwelling place.
Just enjoyed the hymn this morning with the saints. Lord, thank You for not only giving us a new heart and a new spirit but also putting Your Spirit into our spirit! Thank You for leading us back to You as our dwelling place to enjoy You as the bread of life for Your satisfaction! We love You!
