I love this hymn. This morning I awoke with it on my mind but couldn't remember all the words do I googled it. I want to give these words to a young lady who is coming to stay with me. She has lost her husband her house and has 2 children to support so she needs this song.

My mother, who is in heaven, used to sing this song. Now I understand that there times when you are burdened down and can't share what you are going through with others; Jesus is there to listen and help. Jesus is my refuge and will fix it!

My mom sang this song a lot. She was saved after she was married and my father was not a Christian. She had a hard time as light and darkness cannot dwell together. This song helped her until her death just 16 days ago. Thank You Lord for this song!

The Spirit brought this song to mind today as I thought through several challenges... I could only remember the refrain so I Googled. Now reading the many comments and testimonies here, I'm amazed anew at the awesomeness of this God who is everywhere every time; listening, answering, comforting, encouraging, delivering, working all things for the good of those who love Him. And all we have to do is tell Him! That is pretty cool!

I woke up this moning, thinking about life situations surrounding me with so many challenges and this song came to me. As a little kid I sang this hymn with my parents most especially my mum in the midst of trouble. I feel Jesus is already listening.
