I sang this hymn as a child. I am 62 years old. I've set out to dedicate these next two days as special time with God. As I sat down, this hymn just came to mind. The words express my heart - the hope, promises, love. What an explosive place to begin transactions with our Lord! Tears came to my eyes as I read the comments of others.
