Am always inspired by the Holy Spirit with this song whenever am down, this song encourages me and gives me more hope... Lord plant my feet on higher ground.
What an inspired countenance, to live above the world, to catch a glims of glory bright! hallelujah, God in His Mercy has done all for us without reservation, blessed be His name forever, Amen.
That point when you don't really have the right words to express your hunger and the Holy Spirit drops a song in your spirit that aptly echoes your heart's cry.
Lord Plant my feet on higher ground. That place of firmness. Where life is lived for a higher purpose - to turn men to God's light.
Was thinking about my life and everything that was and the things that are to come and this song popped into my head. I am now comforted that He sees and knows my desires and will always see me through.
This song was poured into my spirit via the Holy spirit while l was praying.
The Lord wants us to trust and depend on Him, not on mere man, who is here today and but gone tomorrow.
Man will fail, but Jesus will never fail.
To you listening to this awesome hymn be encouraged turn the words into a prayer point for elevation and decorating.
You belong to the army of the Lord and not Satan.
Whose mission is 3 fold: Kill, Steal and Destroy.
I pray that you will aim for higher ground and leave the lower where Satan dwells. Re programme you mind for heavenly riches and to be a blessing.
You will no longer slumber but you will arise and shine in the precious name of Jesus. Be encouraged and live a triumphant life until you are called for glory. Amen.
Lord plant my feet on higher ground. A higher ground than I have found in Jesus name. I cannot climb without my guide. Please my Jesus see me through this year 2015 and beyond in Jesus Name. Amen. With You I will succeed and I will not fail in Jesus Name. I will be fruitful, I will brake forth, no more sorrow, the joy of the Lord shall be my strength in Jesus Name. From henceforth, I will celebrate, I will jubilate, I will progress, I will be victorious in Jesus Name. Thanks for uploading this song and God bless you all. Shalom!!!
To be in the spirit is the key, the secret. In the spirit we will experience many wonderful things of Christ because we have crossed the Jordan and entered into Canaan. When we are in the spirit, we are in the rest, and we are in the Holy of Holies. Therefore, we must always renounce the natural man, the outer man. For example, many times in the Lord's work I was tempted by the enemy to quarrel with others. On those occasions I felt that my reason was right, that the case was mine, and that I had the doctrine to support me. Yet while I was trying to speak, something deep within restricted me and stopped me. In order to go along with that deep feeling, I had to drop my quarreling. Consequently, it seemed that I had nothing to say. But I can testify that every time I went along with the spirit, there was victory. If we take care of our spirit, the mighty One in our spirit will be our strength. We will be transcendent and victorious over many things. When we come to the meetings, we will come with many items of Christ to contribute, either in prayer, singing, giving a testimony, or speaking a short word. Philippians 4:13 says, "I am able to do all things in Him who empowers me." But where does Christ empower us? He empowers us in our spirit. Our mind is the stronghold and the open gate for the enemy, but our spirit is the base for the Lord to do His work. Thus, when we go along with the mind, we are defeated, even though we may be doing something good. But if we go along with the spirit, we will be victorious. We will be on a high mountain, on higher ground, and, in the words of a hymn, "on Canaan's tableland" (Hymns, #396). We will be in the heavens and will be transcendent.
